Jason Momoa stars as Ray Cooper alongside Isabela Merced as his daughter Rachel in an action drama pent on revenge. After the death of his wife, Ray seeks out those responsible to make them pay while trying to protect his daughter.

It’s a premise that could make for a fun ride and the opening sequence has a lot of potential. It all becomes quite far-fetched, quite quickly as we watch Ray trying to take on the pharmaceutical industry with his bare hands.

All logic gets thrown out of the window after the first twenty minutes and with it goes the audience’s attention. There are some fun sequences, but it misses the tongue-in-cheek nature of the cheesy action space that this is trying to sit in.

A forgettable straight-to-Netflix action that just goes to show that it’s not as easy to create a Stallone or Statham classic as it looks.
