Top 5 Hollywood Chris's
The conversation often comes up, here's our definitive Top 5 Hollywood actors named Chris

The four men pictured above (Chris's Evans, Hemsworth, Pine, Pratt) are the Hollywood Chris's that often get ranked, but when you look further there are many Chris's working in the world of cinema. Yes, we've counted Christophers! Yes, we've counted Christians! Our argument: we know Christians and Christophers who go by the shortened form, 'Chris'. We created our list on a recent episode of The Focus Film Podcast where we justified our logic and our ranking.

5. Chris Pine
Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves, Don't Worry Darling, Hell or High Water

Movie Appearances - 40
Pine has gone up in everyones estimations in the past couple of years. With a dynamic turn in Don't Worry Darling and then an utterly charismatic performance as bard Edgin in last month's Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves, Chris Pine is diverse and fun, and has a comedic timing often unappreciated. Pratt, Rock and Hemsworth are the supposed comic Chris's, but Pine's comedy is super classy (as is his fashion sense).
4. Chris Evans
Captain America in the MCU, Knives Out, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Lightyear

Movie appearances - 42
Chris Evans somehow made a potentially patronising, boring character sing in a franchise that relied on his charm and wit. Captain America has become culturally iconic, and that all started with Chris Evans. Before that, Evans shone in everything he appeared: from Fantastic Four to Street Kings he was always on form. He always appears extremely likeable and his villainous turns since he departed the MCU have been captivating. And that cable-knit sweater is THE ONE!
3. Christopher Walken
Severance, Catch me if you can, The Deer Hunter, Pulp Fiction, Batman Returns

Movie Appearances - 123
Christopher Walken surprised us all when he turned up in Apple TV+ hit Severance last year. But if anything it was just a reminder of how much of a legend he is. One of the most mimicked actors in the business, Walken's way of speaking has left such a cultural impact on the world, everyone knows his voice even if they can't picture his face. He's been around since the 60's and has starred in some of the biggest films of all time, "you know...he's pretty...err...great!"
2. Christian Bale
The Dark Knight trilogy, American Psycho, The Fighter, Ford v Ferrari, The Big Short

Movie Appearances - 52
Christian Bale often comes up in the conversation of best actor working today. He hasn't turned in a bad performance, even if he's starred in a couple of rogue films. You can tell he really thinks about every role he takes and puts a level of dedication into it that no-one can match. There's something intimidating about his performance style that doesn't reflect on his real persona. Bale works hard to be a chameleon, and it really pays off. One of the best of our generation!
1. Christopher Lee
Dracula, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars prequels, The Wicker Man, The Man with the Golden Gun

Movie Appearances - over 200
Christopher Lee is a certified legend. He's an actor admired by so many generations and who has turned in an iconic performance in every decade since he began. Dracula, Saruman, Count Dooku, Scaramanga, Rasputin, The Jabberwocky; an unbelievable list of characters to have under his belt. Christopher Lee is another with such an iconic voice and he has worked with some of the greats, often complementing them and forgetting that he too...is one of the greats.
Worthy Contenders
Actors that came close, but for whatever reason, didn't quite make the cut
Chris Hemsworth
We know you're all wondering where he is. He's great fun but hasn't turned in as diverse a rep as the others
Chris Pratt
Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy and now Mario, Pratt's name could fight among the best, and he comes close.
Christopher Lloyd
The legendary Doc Brown arguably deserves a spot on the list more than most, but it's us being uncultured and not seeing enough of his other work that lost him the place.
Dracula available to rent or buy on Amazon Prime Video
