UK Film Releases: August 2023
Here's a rundown of every major movie release coming to the big and small screen in the next 31 days.

What a month July was, hey! With that big Barbie and Oppenheimer weekend it feels like cinema has reached its peak this year. Not to mention that a new Mission Impossible and a new Pixar film also hit the big screen. And now as we move in to August, the range is still monumental. We're going to see Jason Statham go one on one with a giant shark in The Meg 2: The Trench; Rosario Dawson take on ghosts in Disney's Haunted Mansion; and Gerard Butler is set to go head to head with a city in Afghanistan in Kandahar. And that's not all, there's the DC's Blue Beetle, Netflix original comedy You are so not invited to my Bat Mitsvah and video game inspired Gran Turismo. So if you can, get yourself down to the cinema this August, and submerge yourself in something utterly bonkers on the big screen.

Highlight of the Month - The Meg 2: The Trench
No we haven't lost their minds! If you saw the trailer for The Meg 2: The Trench and didn't instantly want to watch it then you need a bit more fun in your life. The trailer literally starts with a big bad shark jumping out of the ocean and eating a Tyrannosaurus Rex. In what world is this not going to be the best film ever created. Jason Statham fighting a "giant fossil"...we'll be front row with a popcorn box filled to the brim.
